Each axe throwing session is 75 minutes long. Private lanes (reservations encouraged) require a minimum of 2 throwers and a maximum of 6 per lane. - 75-80 minutes: $25 per person - 180 minutes: $50 per person (must book consecutive start times for the same lane) You won't be placed with strangers on your lanes, but during peak times, we may condense your group. For groups of 6 or more, divide your group size by 4/5 to determine the number of lanes needed. Walk-ins are welcome, but availability may vary, especially during busy seasons (October - April) and premium times (weekends 3 pm - 9 pm, weekdays 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm). Absolutely, though please understand that these are axes. YOU and others are required to be responsible people! We are fully insured and teach safe throwing methods within a controlled environment. Each of our lanes is completely enclosed, so even if the axe bounces off there is no ricochet into bystanders, etc. Our lane coaches will help guide you on how to hold, aim, and throw an axe from the beginning to the end of your experience. They are ‘axeceptional’!! We reserve the right to deny anyone whom we feel cannot safely throw an axe. Safety is #1!

Yes, overall, there is a minimum age of 12 years old, of course, this requires a parent/guardian to sign all necessary waiver requirements as well. The adult must stay with the party during the entire visit. Otherwise, you must be 18 years or older to throw axes at Madison Axe.

Our axe throwing league runs for 8 weeks, usually on Tuesdays. Email us to find out when the next session begins. We are looking for more women throwers for our Tuesday evening league. You can practice and warm up before the competition starts. For the first 7 weeks, everyone gets at least 40 competitive throws per night. Scores are tallied based on your skills, not your opponents. The top scorers will compete in the Championship Tournament in week 8 to determine the Axe Throwing League Champion!

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Late arrivals will cut into your reserved time as we cannot push back your slot. No refunds for late arrivals. We serve alcohol and have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on underage drinking.
